Photographs of your family do not necessarily need to be the staged portraits, at the mall, that you remember as a kid. Family portraits don’t have to be staged at all. My approach to family photography is to just have fun. From my point of view, the way families interact is what defines them and that is what I seek to capture. By picking familiar, beautiful, and fun locations, I aim to candidly capture the true love that a family has for each other.
